There is a desperate need for light construction, clean-up, painting, etc. at the Treadway School just outside of Sneedville on Saturday, April 11. This facility will house future work crews for Sneedville service projects, and has an open house coming up soon so we need your help!
The plan is to travel to Sneedville on Friday evening, stay in one of the cabins or rescue squad, then get up early and work all day Saturday. We’ll also be taking part in Serve Our City Sunday at Harpeth Hills on Sunday, so we will need to either come back to Nashville on Saturday evening or very early Sunday morning.
We will have a group from Harpeth Hills conducting several women’s clinics at the Community Center that Saturday as well.
This is somewhat of a short notice, but the date for the open house event at the school was moved up and they are now in a bind.
Whether you are coming to Sneedville for the first time or if you are a frequent flyer, we hope you will find a way to help on Saturday, April 11! We will need to develop a head count pretty soon to make reservations for Friday night.
Please let us know as soon as possible if you will be able to make the journey with us.
