Day 1
Dear friends and family,

We have arrived and have been welcomed with love and joy! The reunion between returning students and our Honduran family was filled with joyful crying and many, many, hugs.

We immediately got to work by creating food bags that will each feed a family for one month. After completing the food bags we proceeded to begin renovation on the classrooms at the church. This required much manual labor and the rest of the day’s work.

When the day’s work was over we embarked to the hotel where all of us were stunned by the breathtaking few from the roof when we arrived. After a quick meal at the mall and a time of worship and prayer we all went to sleep with excitement about what the next day had in store for us.
