Two upcoming service opportunities for adults as well as families with children. Come serve with us and get to know the families of Sneedville.

These trips are open to all adults but are also ideal opportunities for families with children of all ages; we encourage you to consider bringing your children. Consider this opportunity for your small group as well.

Both opportunities need manpower, but also provide you the chance to get to know some of the families in Sneedville. We hope that you can follow up through letters, cards, phone calls, or your own creative ideas!

Tuesday & Wednesday, November 24-25

During the week of Thanksgiving we will travel to Sneedville on Tuesday evening and return Wednesday afternoon. Run4Water is providing meals for several families. Our job will be to deliver the meals to the homes and spend time praying with each family. Volunteers are given full instructions including some questions for opening dialogue with the families, a devotional for you to do with the others in your vehicle on the way to a home, and driving directions.

Friday & Saturday, December 18-19

Run4Water is identifying 12-15 families who need help making Christmas a possibility. We are helping with the delivery process; meeting with the families involved and giving them their gifts at the high school gymnasium. Bring your children and let them help a child from Sneedville select a gift for his or her parent. Adult volunteers will sit down with the parents to learn their specific needs, share the Lord with them and pray. We will travel to Sneedville on Friday evening December 18, and return Saturday afternoon, December 19.
