Benay and I wanted to thank you for the way you blessed our family during our time with you in November and December. From our very first day together we immediately felt welcomed and loved by the kindness of everyone we met.

We enjoyed our times of fellowship together during Sunday worship. We enjoyed sharing meals and getting a cup of coffee with many of you. We enjoyed private conversations. We enjoyed getting to know the shepherds, the ministers and church staff as well as so many members. We were blessed by your encouraging words and excitement about what God is doing in Porto Alegre. And we were overwhelmed by your generosity in blessing us with funds to buy a new car as well as helping us financially in getting closer to realizing the goal of buying a house for the first halfway house in Porto Alegre.

We have talked often, since we left you, about how much God has blessed our family and ministry through Harpeth Hills. We arrived in Nashville not knowing many people and in a short amount of time we left feeling like we were part of the family. That says so much about you and how you were Jesus to us.

Typed words sure don’t seem adequate but it’s our best way to communicate to you all so “thank you” for everything. We are excited about this beginning together and are anxious about having Harpeth Hills members come visit and work with us in Porto Alegre. We are very excited about our future together and what that can look like.

We pray God blesses each of you with an amazing year as you bring God’s kingdom to Nashville or wherever He might lead you. You are a great blessing to the Blume family and we thank Him for you.
