New Ministers

On Sunday, July 1, our elders made the following announcement.

Today we are making two exciting announcements. First, we want to remind you that Ronnie Rummage has recently joined the ministry staff at Harpeth Hills as Church Life Minister.

His two roles will be working with the Older Adult Ministry and the newly formed Connections Ministry, which will welcome and walk with new members as well as help all of us utilize our spiritual gifts.

As Ronnie joins the ministry team, he is stepping down from the eldership.

Second, we are excited to announce that we have hired Trey Wrapp as our full-time worship minister.

Trey and his wife Chelsea, along with their six-month-old son River, currently live in Midland, Texas, where he serves as the worship minister for the Golf Course Road Church of Christ.

The Wrapps shared a video here about their excitement to become part of the Harpeth Hills family.

There were at least three things about Trey that impressed the Search Committee, elders, and ministers:

  • He is a talented musician and a skilled leader of both a cappella and instrumental worship. This was an obvious requirement for this position, and Trey checks this box in a resounding way. Trey loves our fellowship and our heritage. He is a third-generation minister who is genuinely excited about serving the local church. He is looking forward to working with Robert King and Grant Parker as he oversees the entire worship ministry.
  • Trey is wise beyond his years. He impressed all of us with his calm demeanor, cooperative spirit, and emotional intelligence.
  • Trey and Chelsea will relocate to Nashville and Harpeth Hills in early September.

Please remember this young couple in prayer as they go through the transition process over the next several weeks.
