Our church has been encouraged by the “virtual” singing videos. As a way for our church family to be engaged in singing even when we are apart, please consider video recording yourself (or couples) singing along with the GUIDE VIDEO.

Keep these tips in mind:

Listen/watch the guide video with one device (maybe computer or iPad), and have an earphone in one ear from that device. (If couples, each should have one of the pair of earbuds and the camera needs to record landscape (wide) not portrait (tall).

With a separate device (maybe a smartphone) video yourself singing along. Start recording several seconds before it is time to sing, and leave it running a few seconds after you finish. The extra will be edited out later.

You can sing the melody the whole time, or a harmony part, whatever is best for you. If some notes are out of your range, just leave them out as you would if singing in church.

Trust your eyes for timing. Synchronize your singing with what you see.
