I have been on the receiving end of healing words lately. More people have uttered words of thanks in the last three weeks than in the past three months.

I also suspect that nurses and doctors and first responders and delivery people and Wal-Mart workers have heard more thanks lately too. We are all more likely to remember to say thank you these days. It is not because we are just trying to be good. We are genuinely more thankful and more aware of what we should be thankful for.
