Dear Harpeth Hills,

We invite the Church to observe a day of prayer and fasting tomorrow, April 11. On this Saturday, the day between Good Friday and Easter, we bow our heads before the one who can raise the dead. Observe this fast in anyway you like.

Then on Easter Sunday we return one last time to the prophet Isaiah and his stirring words in Chapter 25. These words, written 2500 years ago, are our words too. “He will swallow up death forever, then the Lord God will wipe away the tears from all faces.”
