We now have girls at The Pearl House! Eleven girls moved in and are enjoying their first days in a house. These girls have never slept in a bed before. They come from villages all over Ghana. Their stories vary, but all are in desperate need of education, hope, and Jesus. At the Pearl House, they will get all 3!

James & Savanna Millikan, Costa Rica
Supporters, friends, and family of James & Savanna Millikan gathered in the home of Phil & Melissa Roe last week to celebrate and encourage the Millikan’s before they traveled back to their home in Costa Rica. After one full year of service in the mission field, they have many stories to tell. We praise God for this wonderful couple and their hearts for service in His kingdom.

Lessons in Humility: 1. God has been so extremely good to me. 2. I need to thank Jesus more each day for my parents and the sacrifices they made for my education. 3. Be grateful. Always. 4. I am more thankful now than ever the boys at Jovenes en Camino are in school, learning, and have dedicated house-parents who pray for their academic success. 5. Humility is the most attractive quality a person can have.

Tomas Parillo, Inter-American Bible Institute, Peru
Recently, 15 students and 6 trip sponsors assisted an assembled medical team in the borough of Lucyana in Lima, Peru in carrying out a medical mission at the Lucyana Church of Christ. The team saw over 1,500 patients during the week. The students not only treated patients’ medical issues, but also built relationships with community members and created connections with the area youth.

The students have given themselves to their studies and are learning new ways they might apply it to life and ministry. They have invited people to church and participated in outreach community service activities. Some are actively involved in our young adult ministry. Others are preaching regularly in area congregations. We are pleased to see a strong desire in them to get involved in ministry and the lives of people even while they are studying hard in school.

African Christian Schools is excited to partner with Exile International for the 1st Annual Slosh in the Mosh Mud Run to be held August 17th in Dickson, TN. This 5K will have mud runs, water hazards, climbing walls and a few special surprises.
